Shipping Times

Each bag carefully crafted by human hands in Cape Town.

Our production time varies with each collection as follows:

*If indicated "in stock or ready to ship' - 1- 2 business days
*Chuma hand-stitched genuine leather bags - 10-15 business days
*Afrika Éclat - luxury hand bags and jewelry - 4-6 weeks
*African print fabrics and sheepskin- 1-2 business day

We strive to send orders on time to the best of our ability. At times of influx, dispatch dates may be pushed out slightly. If this is the case, we will surely communicate any backlogs.

We take pride in making your bags, and we believe in the slow fashion process, whereby we take time to ensure the best quality in each bag and wearables.

As soon as your bag(s) or accessories have been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email along with your tracking details.

Shipping Services:

LOCAL: We care about getting your products to you in the most efficient and safe way. Therefore, we have partnered with The Courier Guy and Courier it locally.

Internationl: Please contact us before completing your order to get correct shipping charges: We use DHL, UPS and FedEx internationally.

As soon as your package has left our workshop, you will receive tracking details. You can rest assured that your products are in safe hands.


 

Refund Policy

Returns
NaniTa Designs is committed to ensuring that you love your NaniTa product(s). Our returns policy lasts 15 days after delivery or receipt of goods. In order to be eligible for a return, item(s) must be unworn, unused with the original packaging, and in the same condition that they were received. If 15 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

Custom orders are not refundable or returnable. This includes items selected by the customer that are non-standard items. i.e hand-picked leathers and colours that are not a part of our bag/jewellery/fabric catalogue.

If an order has been returned back to our office for an exchange, thereafter a refund is no longer valid. To further elaborate, if a second order is placed on an exchange basis in order to accommodate your choice, for example, thereafter only a credit can be issued. The credit amount allocated will be eligible for use on our website for up to seven months from the date it was issued.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to NaniTa until you are certain the refund or exhange has been approved via an email confirmation.

Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 3-5 business days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
Please allow 7-12 working days for your refund to reflect. If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at ask@nanita.co.za.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.

*A full refund minus shipping costs will be credited to you.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they don't fit, are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at ask@nanita.co.za and send your item to: Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa, or to a given address.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

Returns shipping
To return your product, you should mail your product to: Cape Town Western Cape, South Africa, using registered mail. An address will be provided as soon as your request is approved.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund as well as survice charges by Shopify and payfast

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are shipping an item over R750, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Delivery policy

Subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 48 hours, and delivery confirmed by way of an email. NaniTa & Co makes use of The Courier Guy and Pargo for the delivery of parcels. For items that are not in stock, please allow 1 to 2 weeks of production time.

Return and Refunds policy

The provision of goods and services by NaniTa & Co is mostly made to order with production times specified in the shipping terms and conditions.  In cases of unavailability, NaniTa & Co will refund the client in full within 30 days. Cancellation of orders by the client will attract a 5% administration fee. Please see the website returns and shipping policy for full details.
